This feature will reach general availability on September 11, 2026How does this affect me?On-behalf-of (OBO) ordering with Microsoft Entra External ID (EEID) is a foundational B2B commerce capability that allows customer service representatives, distributors, and sales agents to place orders on behalf of customers, a common requirement in complex B2B purchasing scenarios. It also enables new B2B customers to migrate to EEID without losing critical, sales-assisted ordering capabilities while preserving support for distributor-led, contact center, and agent-assisted ordering scenarios.What action do I need to take?This message is for awareness, and no action is required.
