[What and Why:] Microsoft 365 Copilot in PowerPoint for Windows will support organization skills that admins can upload and share across their tenant. This replaces the earlier “tenant-wide shareable skills” wording with Organization skill support for Copilot in PowerPoint . This update helps organizations scale approved Copilot skills in PowerPoint with centralized admin management, supporting a more consistent and governed Copilot experience for users. [Rollout Schedule:] General Availability, Worldwide: We will begin rolling out in early September 2026 and expect to complete by late September 2026. [Impact on Your Organization:] Who is affected: Microsoft 365 admins who manage Copilot experiences and organization skills. Users with Microsoft 365 Copilot in PowerPoint for Windows. Users who access organization-provided Copilot skills in PowerPoint. Platforms/Services: Microsoft 365 Copilot. PowerPoint for Windows. Microsoft 365 admin center. What will happen: Admins will be able to upload organization skills in the Microsoft 365 admin center using the appropriate schema. Admins can share approved organization skills so they appear in Copilot in PowerPoint for Windows. Users can access organization-provided Copilot skills within PowerPoint when those skills are made available by admins. This feature supports centralized governance and distribution of Copilot skills across the organization. [Action Required/Recommendations:] No action is required before rollout unless your organization plans to publish organization skills for PowerPoint. Review your organization’s governance process for Copilot skills. Identify which organization skills should be shared broadly across your tenant. Prepare admins who manage Microsoft 365 Copilot to upload skills in the Microsoft 365 admin center using the required schema. Update internal Copilot or PowerPoint guidance if your organization documents how users access approved organization skills.
